Dac Crossley Jr.

Thanks, Marja. I just spent the first weekend in the new cabin. And got too many visitors!

I hate to admit it, but downsizing would be difficult. There are so many things I don't want to let go of, and they take up a lot of space.

Whatever happens, I wish you the best, Dac!

Take the housecats to the cabin. They identify with you, not the house.
My husband and I downsized last August and are still not unpacked. As you said, we are considering each item and its relevance to our life. I've given things to the children, sold some, given some to charity, and still have a double garage full. Letting go is hard for me, but I'm learning. Best wishes to you!

I have reached the time to part with many of the old things I have held onto, thinking someone might want them. I actually need so little and keep so much! It is a very slow process in my case.
